The world has seen a
struggle with illegal immigration stream and trafficking industry
with no end in sight. Illegal immigration refers to the
immigration of people across national borders in a way that
violates the immigration laws of the destined country.
Immigration, whether legal or illegal, authorized or unauthorized,
comprises of people who are escaping from wars and misery,
therefore migrating and crossing national borders to go to
countries in a better situation in other to have the possibility
to construct a future with dignity. |

Virtually, no country of the world is un touched by, or immune to, the
effects of international migration, particularly when it is
unauthorized. As migration is constituting a matter for the rich
countries, the international community should make an effort to find
efficient mechanism, so that there will be equilibrium between rich
and poor countries. The international society is aware of the
complexity of migratory problems and should step up fight against
illegal immigration mafias. |
